The Giesser Skinning Knife has a 6" (15cm) blade made from high-grade chrome molybdenum steel, hardened in the vacuum process to 56 - 57 Rockwell hardness grade. The curved blade offers precise movements for separates the skin from the meat which is ergonomic and gentle on your wrist. The blade surface also highly polished for better rust resistance and durability of the cutting edge. Honing by hand for perfect sharpness.
Its TPE plastic handle is suitable for contact with food and complies with the requirements. It is designed to provide a secure hold and comfort grip as the well-shaped protective guard reduces the risk of the hand slipping when holding the knife.
Giesser's knives are dishwasher proof but it is advisable to manual cleaning in order to protect the cutting edge.
