Buck 662 Alpha Scout Elite Fixed Blade MagnaCut

The Buck 662 Alpha Scout Elite features a MagnaCut steel drop point blade and a black machine-textured G10 handle. A full-tang knife is built for the rigors of hunting and ensures durability, strength, and overall balance. The Alpha Scout is perfect to use in both big and small games. The high-panel flat grind adds toughness and increases the cutting performance of the blade, while the jimping on the blade spine and handle improves grip. Pinch points on the handle increase control when using different grips on the knife for detailed work.  

The textured handle gives you a trusted grip, even in wet conditions. Each handle scale is removable, allowing easy cleanup after processing your prey. A built-in lanyard hole and an imported Kydex sheath with belt attachment are included. The imported Kydex sheath includes rivets, locking, multi-position belt attachment, adapter plate, and hardware. It is compatible with Tek-Lok belt attachments (not included).

It has excellent toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance, striking a balance between all the properties that make a high-performance steel. MagnaCut does not have any performance tradeoffs like other exotic steels. It was developed specifically as a knife steel.
