this is my first proper branded, full tang fixed blade knife i own though i haven't used it yet...i liked the tanto edge, the black coating and the sheath, looks cool don't they
Great & prompt delivery thanks to Thomastools. Although I haven't yet used this thoroughly the spring steel material & tanto shape makes this the all-rounder. While topping off around 7 inches the extended ricasso reduces the cutting edge to 6.1 inches. The rounded guard more useful for fighting I reckon reduces slightly the ability to place your thumb on the spine for those looking to use for long hours doing fine work. However at the price its a true beater knife for all-round work and the medium texture handle surprisingly fit my large hands well.

Watch this German guy on YouTube called Black Forest Ghost 1 and his review on the Cold Steel GI Tanto. Any knife that can be rammed right through a car door or roof and then be used to cut through that same insertion like opening a can of sardines with ease, will get my vote as a 5 star knife. The Cold Steel Tanto - 5 stars all the way, And then some.
