Its signature Tanto point is specially reinforced to maintain sharpness even against modern body armor—proven in-house by driving through 55-gallon steel drums.

Now available in SK-5 high carbon steel, this updated version offers exceptional strength and edge retention. SK-5, the Japanese counterpart to American 1080, contains 0.75%–0.85% carbon and 0.60%–0.90% manganese. When quenched, it reaches a hardness close to Rc 65, forming carbon-rich martensite with fine undissolved carbides. This structure boosts wear resistance while delivering a perfect balance of durability and cutting performance.
