Overall, a good parang. The plus points are a comfortable and beautiful handle and good balance. It feels good in use. The minus points are:
1) The blade is 10" but the cutting edge is only about 5". This is a chpper, but 5" is still short.
2) The duku needs to be sharpened. It comes out of the box on the dull side.
3) For the price, the minus points should be overcome.
Very balanced parang. Nice weight, easy to carry. Good for jungle trekking trips.
