(You cannot compare myparang to a machete in the local hardware store.)
Myparang's parang is handmade with the modern machine.
It features a specially hardened 5160 carbon steel blades with eco-wood handle from sourced from Croatia.
Why destroy the jungle to enjoy it right?
I own one of the myparang and I enjoy every moment wielding it as it is relatively lightweight and very tough. It seems like a machete that can stand the test of time and serve me and my grandchildren well.
If you are into high-value parang.
Why not get one from us. We are ship international too.

I had wanted a duku chandong but since there is no stock for it I ended up getting the Golok. Service, communication and follow up with Thomas Tools was great! Super responsive and he even messaged me to ask how was the condition of the package. I was impressed honestly. The reason why I gave it a 4 star rating instead of 5 was that the Golok came with a very heavy burr on the edge and I had to resharpen it. Here's the issue. This is the only knife that I had problem getting a razor edge. Granted, a chopper doesn't require a really sharp edge but this is just me. I tried sharpening till I get a burr but after stropping away the burr it doesn't even slice paper and pop hairs. Never had this issue with my Condor parang or any other knives. I kept trying and trying and finally resigned myself to the fact that probably the heat treat is too soft. I like the feel and balance of this Golok and I will try it out in the field to see how it performs. Until then, what you read here is only my initial impression and doesn't necessarily conclude that the product is inferior.
