Absolutely beautiful piece of aged art! The hammer marks are great, showing the forging process. Super heavy duty, and sharp! The wood handle has really nice grain, and is shaped perfectly for extended use. Really a collector's item that can be used all day. Love it! Super fast shipping, too.

As much as I liked the shape and form of the golok, it feels heavier than what I had expected (am so used to my duku chandong). That said, I will start using it once I sharpen it to my liking (using the Japanese wet stones I bought from Thomas Tool)
This parang looks very good. The finishing is very good and the balance in the hand is perfect. I bought it for collection only, but it should be a good one to be used outdoor.
