Following the success of the Luna slip joint in its various iterations, Jakub Wieczorkiewicz and Real Steel set out to create a sheepsfoot-style slip joint with a more contemporary aesthetic. This vision led to the development of the Solis.

The Solis incorporates design elements characteristic of Jakub's custom work, including the signature raised spine and a split pocket clip. To enhance its modern feel, Real Steel lightened the overall design, featuring an elongated hole at one end of the handle that adds a futuristic, industrial touch. The shapes and chamfers on the handle not only contribute to a slim profile but also provide an ideal canvas for the diverse materials that will be utilized in the various versions of the Solis.
