The REN model promises to be a standout addition from the renowned Japanese knifemakers. This blade is crafted in the "Tanto-Honzukuri" or "Tanto-convex" shape. While their CHI model features a "Tanto-Shinogizukuri" blade, which has a straight grind, the REN offers something unique. Few knifemakers produce this type of blade shape, and we haven’t seen a "Tanto-Honzukuri" with a mirror-polished finish before.

The handle combines a carbon fiber presentation scale with a titanium frame lock, providing excellent weight and balance. Although it may not resemble a typical Rockstead, we anticipate that the REN will be one of the highest-performing knives globally. With proper care, Rockstead knives are known to retain a sharp edge for 2-3 years.
