The SAI-T-ZDP is a premium semi-custom folder featuring a 3.125" ZDP-189 blade with a mirror finish and titanium handles coated in "DLC Prism" (DLCP). This advanced coating, applied at 400°C, reaches near-diamond hardness and adds both durability and a unique visual finish.

The Tanto "Honzukuri" blade—convex ground on both sides—draws inspiration from traditional Japanese swords, offering a strong, high-performance edge. A smooth opening mechanism and solid liner lock ensure reliable operation.

The mirror finish is achieved through an intensive, multi-step hand-polishing process using grits from 400 to 2,000, followed by final buffing. Any scratch during the process requires a full step-back, underscoring Rockstead's pursuit of perfection.

The SAI-T-ZDP includes a black leather belt pouch with a torx wrench slot. Each knife is individually numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity. With proper care, Rockstead edges can last 2–3 years without sharpening.
