The SHIN is the larger version of the Rockstead KOU model, featuring a 3.5" YXR7 DLC polished blade and aluminum handles adorned with stingray inlays. The blade opens smoothly, and the solid liner lock ensures it stays securely in place.

The remarkable mirror finish is the result of a meticulous process involving heat treatment and gradual hand grinding through wet-dry sandpapers ranging from 400 to 2,000 grit. This painstaking process is both time-consuming and intense, as any imperfections require the blade to be reworked. Once completed, the blade is buffed to perfection. Rockstead’s mastery of this technique results in a knife with a stunning finish and an exceptionally sharp edge. Each knife is individually numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity. With proper care, Rockstead knives are known to maintain their sharpness for 2-3 years.
