The SHIN is the larger variant of the Rockstead KOU model, featuring a 3.5" VG10 clad ZDP-189 mirror-finish blade and aluminum handles with elegant stingray inlays. The blade opens smoothly, and the solid liner lock ensures it remains securely in place.

The stunning mirror finish is achieved through a meticulous process of heat treating the blade and progressively hand grinding it through 400, 600, 800, 1,200, and 2,000 grits of wet-dry sandpaper. This process is both intense and time-consuming, as any scratches require the blade to be reworked from the previous step. Once completed, the blade is buffed to a flawless finish. Rockstead has perfected this process, resulting in a knife with an exquisite finish and an exceptionally sharp edge. Each knife is individually numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity. With proper care, Rockstead knives are known to maintain their sharpness for 2-3 years.
