The TOPS Backup was designed to ride alongside the Hammer Hawk, but works just as well as a standalone backup blade for any bigger knife. Most cutting jobs do not need a long edge, and when the big blade is overkill, this one steps in.
A continuous curve through the blade makes it handy for skinning, feather sticking and small camp chores. This version wears a Tungsten Cerakote finish over the 1095 steel for extra rust protection. The Kydex sheath is minimal by design, for a low profile carry that barely adds any weight.
