Zippo Matte 49218 Insert Design Lighter

The Matte Lighters are created with a powder coat that is applied electrostatically to the brass case. This black matte windproof lighter with insert design is adorned with the classic Zippo logo. It comes packaged in a gift box. You can fill it with Zippo lighter fluid for optimal performance.

Matte Lighters
The first matte lighter (black) was introduced into Zippo's stock line in 1984. Soon after the first introduction of the matte lighter four more colors were introduced: blue, burgundy, green, and grey. In 1985, the Zippo logo was imprinted on the lighter and a border was added.
